New partnership will involve cooperation to advance the sport in the GCC
Vienna, Austria: Saudi investment holding company CoinMENA have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Slovak Olympic Canoeist, Michal Martikán. The agreement will see Mr Martikán provide his expertise on a number of future projects within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding will cement an exciting relationship between CoinMENA IHC and Mr Martikán, to turn the relatively new sport of canoeing into an official sporting profession in the KSA.
CoinMENA IHC have already supported projects in a number of sectors including aviation, design and constructions. This new partnership is one of several recently signed agreements which will see the Riyadh based firm support sporting endeavors. As well as their Saudi Arabia office, CoinMENA IHC also has offices in Jordan, Egypt, China and the UAE.
Canoeing is a highly popular pastime in the Slovak Republic, which was the host for the recent 2022 European Canoe Slalom Championships. Mr Michal Martikán is a former Olympic canoeist who represented the Slovak Republic, winning the country’s first Gold medal since independence in the 1996 Olympic Games, and also won the C1 individual category at the World Championships four times.
Mr Martikán’s expertise and experience of canoeing in the Slovak Republic will be invaluable to contribute to the Saudi Canoe and Kayak sport. CoinMENA IHC intend to collaborate with the Saudi Federation to formalize its youth training program and transform canoeing in Saudi Arabia into a professional sport.
This Memorandum of Understanding between CoinMENA IHC and Mr Martikán demonstrates their joint commitment to raising the profile of canoeing in Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC area.
